‘Twas A Month Before Christmas: What To Wear For The Parties

Hey guys how are you doing? Join us for another “Twas A Month Before Christmas” article today. It is an entire series to help you prepare before the holidays. For this article, we are going to talk about what to wear during all those crazy parties and family dinners. The holiday season is upon us and so are all the Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties left and right. Choosing what to wear can be stressful (especially for those who don’t want to create a “party uniform” to wear to all those events!), but don’t worry. Because we are such Brosome bros, we are here to help you out.

What To Wear For The Parties

We are going to go through the three basic events most of us would have to attend this Christmas.

First, the company Christmas party

Of course what you are going to wear during the company Christmas party would still mainly depend on the given theme. I mean, you’re not going to be wearing a suit if the theme’s Night Circus for instance, right? For parties that would require formal wear though, nothing beats the tux ensemble. If you are feeling a bit adventurous though, then you can replace the classic tux with a statement blazer. You can go for a solid dark color, or a bold print. Just stay away from overpowering colors like bright and neon, and ridiculous Christmasy patterns.

Second, the family dinner

For the top, you can throw on a soft-colored button-up long-sleeved shirt. I usually choose a light blue shade. Pops out my eyes. But feel free to choose the color that makes you most comfortable wearing. You might want to go for light red hues like salmon or pale pink. Experts say that these colors can make you look more approachable and warm. Perfect for the “meet the parents” day.

Finally, the PAR-TAY!

Costume parties, here we come! Not sure on what to wear, why not choose a beloved character from a television series or a movie? Cosplaying never grows old. You can memorize a line or two as well to impress the ladies. And also a fun fact related to the movie. As for me? I usually go for Vito Corleone, complete with that iconic voice and mouth clenching. It always seem to turn the ladies on! Just saying.
