Have you guys seen the one-of-a-kind sensational Thunderbike, work and wonder of Germany’s most astonishing custom bike builders? Well, that means somebody is paying their ISP for nothing.. nothing at all! For those of you who still feel alive, let’s talk about the project called The Unbreakable. Martin from Thunderbike was extremely kind to fill us in on their progress on the Unbreakable.
Andreas Bergerforth, Thunderbike founder, has based the whole building process on two concepts: “Functional, yet breathtaking”. Thunderbike was up to create a mind-boggling machine, and who am I to disagree? Worth mentioning is also the Best Custom & Best in Show at Arneitz and the 1st Place at the European Bike Week in Faak, both in Austria. So, it’s established: Thunderbike rules all!
Now, let’s focus on the subject at hand: the bike. Thunderbike built a marvel of a fork, by approaching a hybrid design – part traditional, part springer, part trapeze; the Unbreakable fork is a wonderful display of creative engineering. The 26″ front wheel features dual 340mm rotors, while the 260mm rear wheel got a perimeter Buell rotor. The CNC rims will mesmerize anyone who dares to look, and who wouldn’t?! Totally amazing.
The provided parts gave the Thunderbike an exclusive look, and the darkened covers make a very appealing contrast with the metal flake/hand candy paint job. Being this is a 21st century bike, the Thunderbike Unbreakable is loaded with an 110cui 100 HP Screamin’ Eagle EFI H-D engine, with custom covers, a 6-speed H-D transmission with an NH-power clutch. Enough said, don’t you think?
The controls were all built in-house while Rebufini was responsible for the master cylinders. Now, you tell me: can you spot the embedded turn signals? Look harder. You like it, you hate it.. make up your mind! Still, you can’t deny that Thunderbike built one stylish bike! To say the least.
