Thunder Destroyed Lakers In Game 1

The Oklahoma City Thunder was on fire yesterday as they trashed the visiting Los Angeles Lakers 119-90 in the first game of the Western Conference semis. They dominated the game from start to finish in probably every way imaginable, field goal percentage, bench scoring, steals, fast break points and stars’ performances.

The Thunder really looked like a team that could win the NBA title this year, with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden, scoring 69 points and helping their teammates score even more. They’ve had 98 points in the first three quarters and when you think the L.A. Lakers only scored 90 during the entire game, you probably realize how great they played.

The Lakers looked really tired after the seventh game against the Denver Nuggets and could do very little to stop this team. Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum had 20 points each, Metta World Peace and Pau Gasol also scored a couple, while the rest of the team looked like it was sleeping on court.
