Thunder defeats Heat in Possible Preview of NBA Finals

In a possible NBA Finals preview last night, the Oklahoma City Thunder took down the Miami Heat, after an intense and fun to watch game that ended with a 103-87 victory for the Thunder. Even though every guy from OKC played extremely well, Kevin Durant looked like a future MVP,  outclassing LeBron James, flirting with a triple double and scoring a game high 28 points to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists.

James had only 17 points, three rebounds and seven assists, while Dwayne Wade 22 points and Chris Bosh 18. But the guys from OKC where even better, with Serge Ibaka finishing with 19 points and 10 rebounds, James Harden with 19 points as well, Westbrook finished with just 13 points and six assists and another important guy was Kendrick Perkins who scored a couple of easy buckets in key moments for a season high 16 points.

The game was dominated by Oklahoma City almost from start to finish and with this big win over the Heat, they improved to the second best record in the entire NBA right now, following only the Eastern Conference leader Chicago Bulls that they’ll meet this weekend. Later this week the Thunder will also have to play the Los Angeles Lakers and after all these games we’ll see exactly how great they are.
