Of course men and women can just be friends; the guy just can’t have any sexual interest in the girl whatsoever. I’ve had female friends that I wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft pole (sexually speaking) but I really liked them as interesting human beings. 2 of these girls I’ve been friends with for over a decade and romantic/sexual feelings have never once entered my mind.
