Adidas teamed up with the guys at Porsche Design Sport for a limited edition of futuristic running shoes called Bounce: S³. These state of the art shoes will be produced in a limited run of just 500 units, each of them packaged in a special shoebox wrapped in silver metallic foil.

This is actually the third generation of Bounce: S shoes, and, if you haven’t figured it out by now, this series is anything but an ordinary sneaker. The Bounce: S received a lot of awards since it was launched, back in 2008, and its complex “suspension” was named one of the best 50 inventions of the year by Time magazine.

The sleek and futuristic design is mixed with a car-inspired shock-absorbing system which transfers momentum forward without losing a step. It uses a pretty intricate pivot mechanism and metal springs for a super seamless ride and.. you can even see the metal springs at work right before your eyes through the semi-translucent outsole.
