To celebrate the 45th birthday of the company’s AMG division, Mercedes has unveiled a special SLS AMG GT3 “45th Anniversary” model which is deemed to be a collector’s item. It will be produced in just five examples, each of them finished in a design magno graphite matte paint, and priced at $579,900.

Under that matte paint you can see the exposed carbon fiber reinforced plastic from which the gullwing doors, front and rear spoilers, the hood, rear wings and rear diffuser were built. The interior of this fully functional racing car also received the same design magno graphite finish which is combined with a carbon fiber trim on the dashboard and center console.
