First of all, let us first take a second to thank Theon Greyjoy for killing John Wick’s dog, because if it wasn’t for that total idiot move, there wouldn’t have been an awesome movie which involved killing 70 plus people within 90 plus minutes.
And the cars, oh my God, are you kidding me? let’s take a quick look at them one by one.
The Bitch Without A Price – The 1969 Mustang GT
The movie opens with a sad John Wick being given a renewed hope in life in the form of a dog. But everything goes to hell when Theon Greyjoy breaks into his home, take his car and kill his dog. The car in question? A 1969 Mustang GT with a 390 cubic-engine packing 320 horsepower.
The First Free Car Courtesy Of Jon Leguizamo – 1970 Chevelle
Then he goes to Aurelio’s chop shop. Aurelio, played by Jon Leguizamo, gives him some info about the guy who stole his car and he rolls out of the joint with a gift – a 1970 SS 454 LS6 Chevelle. The classic black muscle car with two white stripes. You can’t get anymore classic than that.
The Second Free Car Courtesy Of Ian McShane – 2011 Dodge Charger
And finally, at the very end of the film, after killing all these people, you see him drive off into the sunset with a 2011 Dodge Charger LD, courtesy of the Continental Hotel whose head is Ian McShane, looking like a sleeker more assassin-like version of Mr. Wednesday, but still a bit boho.
Don’t you just love awesome cars in movies? It kinda makes up for the seemingly lack of hotties on this one. Sure, you got Adrianne Palicki, but she was a total b*tch so for me, she doesn’t really count. How about you guys, did you have a favorite car in the movie?
