Custom-Wolf has gotten us acquainted with high quality, cool looking and aggressive products. Their newest project is following in the tore tracks of its predecessors – a sleek and mean Harley-Davidson build packing together the might of the Twin Cam engine.
It’s refreshing to see a custom workshop specialized in more than one type of jobs; Germany-based Custom-Wolf is equally comfortable building extreme streetfighters, choppers and dragsters alike. Which adds to the excitement and surprise whenever a new project is announced; we never imagine what’s going to “hit” us. The only constant is that the “cool factor” will be off the charts, and so it is again.
The engine sits in a MMS/ Custom-Wolf frame, with RST forks and triple tree atop which the Germans have installed V-Team custom handlebars. The front calipers and the pegs come from Performance Machine, while the rear brake disc was embedded into the pulley assembly. All three discs come from RST.
Custom-Wolf designed and fabricated the fenders and the hand controls; also, a Motogadget M-Unit ECU was installed. A miniature Motogadget gauge was installed directly in the ignition cover, leaving the front of the bike looking clean and tidy. The exquisite paint job for the bike reveals the bike’s name; it was baptized “Insurge”. If you can imagine the sound of the Gietl adjustable-flap exhaust, keeping it’s badd a$$ looks in mind, you quickly realize that riding this bike will be a unique experience.
