GAME TIME! The Top Ten Scariest Games You’ll Never Want To Play Alone (1 of 4)

Hey bros, what’s up? Here we are once again for another edition of top ten lists over here at Brosome, and today, we are going to start and entirely new series. It’s called “Game Time” and for this series of lists, we are going to list down different top ten games. In this segment, it’s the scariest games of all time. Turn on your gaming consoles, and be sure to have a mate with you because you wouldn’t want to play these alone.

10. Manhunt

Let us start with a bang. Manhunt is definitely one of the most disturbing video games of all time because the level of violence and blood is completely up to the player. It completely messes with you head, and that’s what makes it the perfect game to kick off this list.

9. Dead Space

Who wouldn’t enjoy playing DeadSpace? It’s one of the most unique and scariest games you’ll ever play, not to mention that the anatomy of the guys you’ll be dealing with are completely OFF THE GRID. No “shoot the head” for this game, that’s for sure.

8. Outlast

Here’s a thrilling game. There’s nothing scarier than investigating an overrun psychiatric hospital with its pile of dead bodies. But the real fear factor of the game? You only have your night vision to rely on the whole damn time, and if you’re a fan of jump scares, this baby is sure to give you that heart attack you’ve always dreamed of.

7. Condemned: Criminal Origins

The game that would not let you rely on a decent weapon. Warning, you must be in your calmest mode when you play this game because this is a really REALLY stressful game. You have been warned.

6. P.T.

This game never fails to amaze me how it never fails to scare the shit out of my pants. I find it hard to describe the exact feeling of playing this game, but let me put it this way: it’s like a classical piece of music, with a long slow build up, until the grand finale, only in the end, it’s your sanity that’s nearing its end and not musical notes. Awesome, right?

5. Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly

It may not be the most advanced game on this list, but it’s definitely one of the scariest because of its sheer concept. It lets you face your fears and…wait for it…take its picture. Right in your face, fear!

4. Amnesia: The Dark Descent

What’s the scariest thing that can happen to you? Amnesia’s got it answered – to wake up in a dark Prussian castle, without any idea why you’re there because you actually have no memory AT ALL, and as if the whole place is creepy enough, something’s hunting you down! Good luck playing this on your own.

3. Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem

This is probably the wittiest game here on the list. It doesn’t only scare the hell out of you, it literally tries to reach out to you in real life and make you question your sanity. Take that into consideration before even starting the game.

2. Silent Hill (Especially 2)

I am speaking for the entire Silent Hill franchise. The worst thing that can actually happen to you while playing Silent Hill is that because the entire game is so psychological and emotionally disturbing, it actually scars you and haunts you even years after playing this game. I know a lot of you would even argue that this baby should be number one.

1. Resident Evil HD

Ahh yes, no matter how scary it gets…or how advanced, we can never deny that this game started it all. If you ask me, I would still prefer the original 1996 version any day, but we’ve got to admit, the HD version packs an entirely new definition of the word “scary”.
