Falcao’s Atletico Madrid thrash Chelsea in Super Cup

We always hear about Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the news but this guy, Radamel Falcao, is freaking awesome as well, definitely one of the top5 players in the world right now. He has just punished the European champions with a first half hat-trick as his team, Atletico Madrid, demolished Chelsea 4-1 to win the European Super Cup in Monaco.

The Colombian scoring machine won the Europa League two years in a row with two different teams, FC Porto and Atletico Madrid, and in both years he was the top scorer and the best player of the competition. Last year he moved to Atletico before he had a chance to play in the Super Cup but this year he was in Monaco and dropped our jaws with three stunning goals.

Atletico has also own the European Super Cup two years ago when they defeated Internationale but this game was a lot more impressive. At some point in the game the score was 4-0 but Chelsea managed to score a consolation goal through Gary Cahill to make it 4-1.

But let’s go back to Radamel .. apart from scoring three goals in just 45 minutes, this guy has also hit the post two times and had several other occasions to score thanks to his team mates Gabi, Adrian and Arda Turan. His second goal was a true masterpiece as he beat Czech with an elegant chip from the edge of the box. You can see all goals below!
