Dwight Howard is a Laker after a four-team blockbuster trade

The ‘Dwightmare’ is over, at least for now. We’re going to find out pretty soon how great Superman looks in purple and gold after a massive four-team trade that sent him to the Los Angeles Lakers. This blockbuster deal with more than 10 players involved has been officially confirmed today and, at a quick look, it’s pretty damn great for all teams.

The Lakers will receive Howard, the Denver Nuggets will acquire Andre Iguodala from the 76ers, the guys from Philly will get Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson, and the Magic will receive Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless and a projected first round pick from each of the other three teams.

It might not seem much compared to Dwight Howard, but at least they got something in return (not like the Cavaliers) and they have all it takes to start rebuilding the team in the next years. For the Lakers though.. this was an insane move that will surely make them favorites to win it all.

Teaming the Black Mamba with D12, two time MVP Steve Nash and also hanging onto Pau Gasol is just more than any fans of the team would’ve expected in this offseason. You could say that this is the second coming of Shaq for the Lakers and we all know what happened when Shaq was around… Can’t wait to see them play together!
