The Bulls bulldozed the Magic without him, with Carlos Boozer getting a cool 24 points (and 13 rebounds) to pave the way for the Bulls to run over the Magic. It got to the point where the Magic players almost wished that Chicago had Rose still healthy- it’s embarrassing to get owned by a team that has an injured star.
They have the best record in the NBA, and have won four of their last 5 games to bring their record up to 38-10. Dwight Howard was a force to be reckoned with for Orlando, but his team was way outmatched. And any team that can outmatch the Magic, who are no chumps with a 29-18 second in their division standing, is a force to be reckoned with.
Although the Bulls outmatched the Magic on offense, it was their defense that were the unsung heroes of the night, shutting down the Magic’s usually deadly offense and keeping the ever-dangerous Howard to 18 points on the night.
The Chicago Bulls face off against the Raptors next on Wednesday, and you have to feel bad for Toronto. These guys are 15-30 so far, and it is going to take a miracle for them to beat the incredibly good Bulls.
