Balotelli sends Italy into Euro 2012 final vs Spain

Now that’s what I’m talking about !!! The semi final between Germany and Italy was easily the most awesome game from Euro 2012, even though it didn’t end as I predicted. I’ve thought the Germans were too fast and too good for Italy but boy I was wrong.

‘Super’ Mario Balotelli was the star of the night as he scored twice for Italy to seal a 2-1 victory over Germany and take his country to the final against Spain. The striker from Manchester City eliminated joint-favorites for the title with two first half strikes while Mesut Ozil pulled one goal back from the penalty spot in the second minute of injury time. Too late for a miraculous comeback.

The Italians looked like they were in control of the game from start to finish and, with this victory, they’ve extended their unbeaten record against Germany in competitive games to eight matches.  They’ll meet World (and European champions) Spain in the final on Sunday, in Kiev and.. we’ll see what happens then. Highlights from Italy vs Germany below, in a weird language.
