Protein is a very essential nutrient that the body needs to build and repair tissue. If you’ve been working out too much and you’ve strained your muscles, your tissues are the ones that get the most damage. Without protein, you’ll never get that six-pack abs you’ve always wanted. It is a very important building block of blood, bones, cartilage, and skin. So if you ever wonder why there are so many protein based supplements in the market for when you work out, then you have your answer. But you don’t necessarily have to opt for supplements. Although it is not the required essential nutrient that we are tackling, Omega-3 fatty acids are just as important. Having the best of both worlds is always better than having one over the other.
